IT Security Analyst (m/w/d)

These tasks await you with us:
Network Monitoring and Management:
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network resources.
- Implement and maintain network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Configure and manage network services including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.
Security Implementation and Maintenance:
- Implement, and manage security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control lists.
- Monitor security logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents promptly.
- Adhere to security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Incident Response and Investigation:
- Investigate security incidents and breaches to determine the root cause and recommend remediation actions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to mitigate security risks and restore normal operations.
- Document security incidents, including their impact and resolution, for future reference and analysis.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, security policies, and procedures.
- Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in the field of network security.
- Evaluate and recommend security solutions and technologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
Participate in security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Experience in information security or related fields.
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
- Nice to have : Experience in the administration of Cisco products and Palo Alto products
